Handwoven Indigo Blankets
I make my Indigo Blankets using a traditional method of weaving two narrower pieces that are joined together to create a full width blanket. Half indigo, half charcoal with a center band of black. Minding the details, the center seams are double stitched by hand and the hems are finished with a simple blanket stitch. Using an Egyptian cotton woven with a Maine wool gives these blankets wonderful breathability and an almost silky feel and drape. Approx. 56 x 76 inches
Gently hand wash in cool water. Do not wring. Roll up in towels to absorb excess water and then hang dry. Steam press on wool setting. Dry clean optional.
All of my textiles are woven in small runs. Though they occasionally sell out, I am always making more. Let me know if you would like to be kept informed of when new stock and new designs are available.
